Symptom clusters in patients with lung cancer patients receiving chemotherapy

Aim: The aim was to identify symptoms experienced by patients with lung cancer who had received chemotherapy and determine the symptom clusters.Materials Methods: This a descriptive cross-sectional study. A Patient Presentation Form, ECOG Performance Scale, Memorial Symptom Assessment Scale were used. data collected between September 2016 June 2017. sample of study consisted 100 met selection criteria.Results: When prevalence examined, most common complaints lack energy (82%), loss appetite (71%), change in taste food (62%), anxiety feeling irritable (69%). weakness (8%), (14%), (20%) sad (28%).Conclusion: occurrence severity ratings could be placed into five groups: gastrointestinal system cluster, psychology respiratory neurology cluster skin changes. interact each other should managed appropriate interventions. Moreover, health professionals’ awareness management improved.
